Learn about the important work we and the other sponsoring organizations do around refugees and asylum seekers and enjoy free music, dance, and theater performances from around the world, and more!
Thank you to everyone who supported our Cyclones Fundraiser! We sold over a hundred tickets! The Brooklyn Cyclones also generously provided a prize wheel and prizes to help us raise additional funds. Big shout out to Nadia, our Arabic/French translator, for helping Damian hold down the prize wheel table. We ran out of Mrs. Met Wonder Woman bobbleheads before the game even began!
The funds we raised will allow us to translate over 65 pages of vital documents for use in dozens of cases.
And we weren’t the only winners: the Cyclones won 3-0 against Aberdeen!
It was really wonderful to see everyone and we will have more events like this in the future.
